John Hoyland

JOHN HOYLAND was born October 12, 1934 in Sheffield England and currently lives and works in London. He visited Australia as artist-in-residence at Melbourne University in December 1979 and visited Sydney in 1994.

John Hoyland has had over 60 exhibitions and 125 group exhibitions since 1956 in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Finland, Germany, Italy, Japan, Norway, Switzerland, UK and USA.

His work is in numerous major museums and private collections around the world.
