Lorrkons Mimih Spirits Yawkyawks

This magnificent selection of over forty Lorrkon hollow logs, mimih spirits and yawkyawk sculptures features both elder, well established artists and some of the most promising of the younger generation. Many of the artists are related to or have been influenced by the painting of John Mawurndjul. The popularity with collectors and the quality of these spirit figures and logs has increased dramatically due to the new innovations of the last few years. This is dynamic, living and breathing contemporary art.
