Godwin Bradbeer
Aspects of the Metaphysical Body

The work of Godwin Bradbeer is the subject of a major touring exhibition entitled "The Metaphysical Body". This landmark show for Bradbeer opens at Grafton Regional Gallery 28 September 2007 and tours to Coffs Harbour (29 October) and opens at Mosman Regional Art Gallery 8 December 2007. With the exhibition at Annandale Galleries it is an unprecedented opportunity to study the work of Godwin Bradbeer in significant depth. A recent work "Imago XVI" is currently on view at the Art Gallery NSW in the Dobell prize exhibition.

Godwin Bradbeer (born Dunedin New Zealand in 1950, lives and works in Melbourne) has been exhibiting in group shows since 1968 and solo exhibitions since 1977. He has been the recipient of numerous awards over the years and his work is in numerous museums, corporate and private collections throughout Australia.

This is his second solo exhibition at Annandale Galleries.
